For some kids, December isn’t about reindeer and presents. It’s about feeling scared, alone and sad.

That’s why Kids Help Phone will respond to more than 17,000 calls this month alone.

Kids Help Phone is a community-based, Canada-wide organization that relies almost exclusively on the support of corporations, foundations and individuals to make sure that when a child takes the courageous step of asking for help, there’s a caring professional on the other end of the line.

Imagination Plus wants Hamiltonians to consider marking the holidays this year with a gift to support this important children’s charity—and we’re sponsoring two weeks of a donation message on CHML to get the word out.

Simply visit the Kids Help Phone website http://org.kidshelpphone.ca/en, click on the “Donate” button and pay by credit card or through Pay Pal.

This December, give the gift of a listening ear. Because when kids want to talk, someone should always pick up the phone.
